Greenwich Square - London

BSkyB Meeting Centre

 

Construction of an office building is far more than the physical aspect of walls, floors and ceilings. With the BSkyB Meeting Centre – also known as The Hub – there was a real desire to ensure environmental concerns were considered, and to make a stunning working environment for all those working within. Lucas was called upon by main contractor Lend Lease to bring its particular expertise to the paint finishes.

Birmingham New Street Station

Muralplast played a key role in the first two phases of the comprehensive transformation currently underway at Birmingham’s New Street Station.

We worked closely with the delivery partner and principal contractor Mace, advising the architects and specifiers on the most appropriate surface treatments to apply on this major rebuilding project. As a result MSP, our multi-surface paint, was used to paint 15 new elevator pits as well as the car park ceilings at New Street.

Park House - London

Emirates Air Line 

Muralplast MSP was applied by Lucas Fit Out to all the structural steelwork in the stations at either end of the Emirates Air Line, the UK’s first urban cable car system that crosses the Thames in East London.

McLaren Production Centre

The S. Lucas Group completed a series of award-winning painting and fit out packages at McLaren Group’s new £40 million sports car production facility at Woking in Surrey, making full use of Muralplast MSP during the course of the project. Mercedes Benz - Edinburgh 

When Mercedes Benz built a new luxury car showroom in Edinburgh, it was to be a critical hub in its retail operations for the north of the country. The architect wanted to reproduce the Europe-wide look and feel of the carmaker’s corporate brand inside the showroom and turned to Muralplast to provide a cost-effective rendering solution from its Armourcolor range of coverings. Olympic Stadium

Muralplast’s Multi Surface Paint (MSP) showed its Olympic qualities when it was chosen by architects Populous and contractor Sir Robert McAlpine for the London 2012 Olympic Stadium. MSP was applied for “blacking out” purposes to hide all the high level elements in the ceiling voids in the stadium’s VIP areas, ensuring that the feature see-through floating ceilings create the right effect.
